Delivery questions

How much is delivery?

The good news is delivery to Japan is free for orders over 5,000 JPY. If your order is under 5,000 JPY, a delivery fee of 2,000 JPY will be charged.

When and how will I receive my order?

Delivery to Japan normally takes 5-8 calendar days (including weekends) from your order date. All delivery to Japan is handled by Yamato.

You will receive three email notifications from Yamato.

  • When your parcels are shipped from our UK warehouse.
  • When your parcels are cleared at Japanese customs and ready for Yamato to deliver to you.
  • When we notify you of the estimated delivery date.

You can track your order on the Yamato tracking system at any time. The tracking link will be included in the email. You can also change delivery date and time from the link on the email if the scheduled delivery date is not convenient for you.

If you are away when the delivery is first attempted, the Yamato driver will leave a card with their mobile number and you can call them directly to arrange re-delivery. Delivery hours are until 9pm every day.

Import duty & consumption tax

Your orders of Huel are dispatched from the UK. Orders (especially high-value orders) might be subject to Japanese import duty and consumption tax when they go through Japanese Customs.

  • Orders below 16,666 JPY are exempt from Japanese import duty & consumption tax.
  • All orders above 16,666 JPY will be subject to Japanese import duty & consumption tax.
  • Order value is calculated based on each individual order, so separate orders will be considered independently. As long as each order value is under 16,666 JPY no import duty or consumption tax will be charged.
  • Woven products are subject to special tax regardless of the value, so you may be liable for these taxes if you order Huel clothing items. Note, the free T-shirt included in first orders is exempt from this.

Huel Ready-to-drink

If your order of Huel Ready-to-drink contains any additional products, they will be packaged at the same time but will arrive in separate boxes.

I need help

If you suspect your parcel may have been lost or not delivered, first of all, we’re sorry you haven’t received your delivery. Don’t worry, contact support-jp@huel.com within 7 days of the original delivery date and we’ll look into this for you.
