Product update : Huel Powder v3.0 and Black edition

We are introducing products with labels in Japanese and kelp will be included as one of the ingredients on the products you receive.

Thanks for using Huel. There will be a product update for Huel powder v3.0 and Black edition from the orders shipped out from 26th January 2021 for Japan.

Product labels are partly in Japanese now

We hope that this makes it easy for you when you look at the labels which covers how to make Huel information and ingredients.

Kelp is newly added as ingredients at a small amount to Huel Ready to drink

Kelp is a type of seaweed you are familiar with in Japanese diet naturally high in iodine.

“The kelp used in this product is collected in the sea area where shrimps and crabs inhabit” as stated on the product label. This means it may contain: Crustaceans, Fish, Molluscs (from Kelp)” due to how kelp is harvested.

Please be assured that the supplier has BRC and Nutritious Food Seaweed certification. Huel products are tested on throughly on multiple testing and you can find the details here: https://jp.huel.com/pages/food-safety-and-quality-controls

Don’t worry you can’t taste any of the kelp! We added kelp as nutrients, not flavouring.

Huel is still absolutely vegan, don’t worry! The Vegan Society says “they are not against foods labelled as vegan also carrying a ‘may contain’ warning about animal allergens.” All Huel Products are vegan.

Timings of the transition

This new version of Huel Powder v3.0 and Black Edition will be sent to you from January 26th 2021 and current version of the product’s last despatch date will be January 25th.
