Huel was setup in 2014 by Julian Hearn because of the amount of food we waste as humans and growing obesity and environmental problems. He hoped that Huel could go some way to combating the global food crisis we are now facing by offering a functional and convenient food in an alternative format. Ultimately, he has respect for the environment and looked for a lifestyle that supported these views.
Huel provides complete food, simply delivered. It's completely balanced, providing you with all 26 essential vitamins and minerals, protein, essential fats, carbs, fibre and phytonutrients. Our mission is to make nutritionally complete, convenient, affordable food, with minimal impact on animals and the environment. We have sold over 20 million meals to over 80 countries.
Huel is a private company with 30 employees, operating out of Aylesbury, London, Birmingham, Los Angeles and Berlin. We’re delighted with what Huel has become and how it has helped people. Huel is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, growing at over 200% per year.
